What does the shirt say?

This Graphic Tees Co. tee shows a tray of gingerbread men and frosted stars above THE RECIPE DIES WITH ME. in huge brown and red capitals. The joke is the refusal: nana bakes them every December, and the recipe card goes to the grave with her.

Is there a sweatshirt with the same print?

The Nana's Cookies crewneck sweatshirt from Graphic Tees Co. is a separate design with its own joke line. This tee carries the new recipe-dies-with-me print on lightweight 4.2 oz cotton, so it suits a warm kitchen on baking day, the cookie exchange and Christmas dinner with the whole family.

How do the colors look?

The soft black linework, faded red lettering and dark brown and red headline read well on light and mid colors, so we offer White, Natural, Heather Stone, Athletic Heather, Pink and Light Violet. Each color has its own photo on this page, showing exactly how the print sits on the shirt you pick.

How does the tee fit?

It is a relaxed women's cut in sizes S through 3XL, made of lightweight 4.2 oz cotton from Graphic Tees Co. Order your usual size for an easy fit, or size up for an oversized look. If the size is not right, we do one free size exchange within 30 days of delivery.

When do I need to order for Christmas baking day?

Order by about December 8 so it arrives before Christmas. Graphic Tees Co. prints each tee to order, which takes a few business days, then ships within the US. Orders of $45 or more ship free, and a misprint or damaged item is reprinted or refunded within 30 days.

How do I wash this graphic tee?

Inside out, cold water, gentle cycle. Skip bleach and fabric softener, then hang dry or tumble dry low. Never iron directly on the print.

Nana Shirt – The Recipe Dies With Me Christmas Tee

The story+

Nana will bake you a hundred cookies and take the recipe to her grave, and this nana shirt says it for her: THE RECIPE DIES WITH ME. Wear it to baking day, the cookie exchange or the family gift opening, and let the whole table laugh while she hands over nothing but the plate.

The art is a vintage bakery tray of gingerbread men, frosted sprinkle stars and a sugar-cookie tree, with a holly sprig, a wooden rolling pin and a worn screen-print edge. Under it, THE RECIPE in dark brown and DIES WITH ME. in red fill the full width of the print in heavy capitals, the way a bakery sign shouts. Original art, made for Graphic Tees Co. and printed the day you order it.
