IT HOLDS. DON'T LOOK CLOSE. A welding shirt for the welder who has held up a lumpy bead for inspection while the coworker with the grinder and the grey primer stands by, for the shop, the job site, a birthday or Christmas.
A vintage 1950s company-newsletter print shows two grinning shop workers in navy and orange coveralls: one holds up a short steel pipe section with a lumpy weld bead for inspection, the other holds an angle grinder and a plain can of grey spray primer, with a bench vise behind them. IT HOLDS. sits above in tall cream capitals and DON'T LOOK CLOSE. below it in safety orange capitals of the same width, in cream, navy and safety orange inks with a worn finish.
