The story+
IT'S RAINING. SEND COFFEE. Every teacher has a rainy-day war story, and this one is on the back: a bandaged apple, a frazzled pencil and a cloud that will not stop. This embroidered zip-up is teacher clothes for the drafty classroom, parking-lot duty in November or a Christmas or end-of-semester gift.
The big print is on the back: a red apple with a bandage and a frazzled pencil leaning on it under a small rain cloud, with IT'S RAINING. in tall condensed capitals above and SEND COFFEE. in bold capitals below. On the front, an apple with a pencil stuck in it is embroidered on the left chest and the word COFFEE is stitched on the left cuff, in white thread on the six darker colors and navy thread on Ash, so the front stays clean when the zipper is down.
It is the zip-up to throw on over a cardigan for hallway duty, hang on the back of the chair at the staff meeting and pull on for the walk to the car. The colleague who got the rainy-day recess schedule will know exactly what it means. Original art, made for Graphic Tees Co. and printed and stitched the day you order it.
