The story+
This fishing mug is for the angler who says it best with a rod in hand: a bass in sunglasses lounging in a folding beach chair beside a pair of fishing rods, with FISHING IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE. above and TALKING ISN'T. below. It is an easy Christmas morning coffee gift, stocking stuffer or secret Santa pick for the fisherman who would rather be on the water than in a conversation.
The print is a vintage-style illustration in sage green and sand: a laid-back largemouth bass leaning back in a striped chair with sunglasses on, rods and a reel propped beside it. The first two lines are set in deep forest green slab capitals and the punchline in golden brown, big enough to read from across the kitchen table, and the whole design sits on bright white glossy ceramic, on both sides of the mug.
Anglers laugh because it is true: the lake is where they say what they feel, and the rest of the week is mostly grunts. Pour in coffee, tea or cocoa and let the bass speak for the person who never has much to say before sunrise. It makes a good gift for a dad, grandpa, husband or fishing buddy, and a fun pick for a tackle-box stocking.
The mug matches our Fishing Is My Love Language sweatshirt, so the mug and the sweatshirt make a funny set for the same angler. Every mug is printed to order by Graphic Tees Co., so the design arrives crisp and ready to give.
