White Elephant Gifts People Actually Fight Over
The white elephant gifts that get stolen are funny and wearable. A Christmas shirt with a joke the whole room knows gets a laugh when it is opened and gets worn after. Graphic Tees Co. has four that do it, printed to order: It Looked Smaller at the Farm, Attending Under Protest, Allegedly. and I Stole It. I'm Keeping It. Tees are $24.99, crewnecks $34.99 and the Attending Under Protest hoodie is $39.99.
What is a funny white elephant gift people will steal?
A shirt whose joke the whole circle gets in one second. These four are printed to order in Graphic Tees Co. designs, so the person who ends up with one is not wearing something from the same rack as everyone else.
“It Looked Smaller at the Farm”
IT LOOKED SMALLER / AT THE FARM is the line every tree buyer has lived. It works on anyone who has ever fought a tree through a doorway. The tee is $24.99 and the crewneck is $34.99.
“Attending Under Protest”
A grumpy reindeer with crossed arms, for the coworker who did not want to come to the party and came anyway. The hoodie is $39.99.
“Allegedly.”
A guilty-looking cat beside a knocked-over ornament. One word, and every cat owner in the room wants it. The tee is $24.99 and the crewneck is $34.99.
“I Stole It. I'm Keeping It.”
A proud man on a podium hugging the gift he just stole. It says out loud what every white elephant winner is thinking. The tee is $24.99 and the crewneck is $34.99.
What makes a good white elephant gift?
A good white elephant gift is funny when it is opened and still useful afterward. Gag gifts that go straight to the trash rarely get stolen; a Christmas shirt someone can wear to the next party does.
Keep it inside the group budget, usually $20 to $40, and pick a joke the whole room understands. Every design above is clean, with no profanity, so it is safe with coworkers and the boss.

Is a shirt a safe white elephant gift for coworkers?
Yes, when the joke is clean. Graphic Tees Co. Christmas designs are family-clean, so a stolen shirt will not start an HR conversation.
If you are not sure about sizes, pick a crewneck or a tee: most people can wear either, and a size exchange is free if it is wrong (see below).

When should I order a white elephant gift?
Order about two weeks before the party. Each shirt is printed after you order it, which takes about 2 to 5 business days, then arrives in about 3 to 8 business days in the US. US shipping is free on orders of $45 or more.
For the Christmas week exchange, order by early December. Delivery estimates show at checkout.
What if the person who steals it needs a different size?
Within 30 days of delivery, Graphic Tees Co. sends one replacement in a new size free, and the first one does not have to be mailed back. That makes a wearable gift low-risk compared with a gag item.
